Gori Art School rehabilitation concluded
hool is finished in Gori. The building represents cultural heritage monument built in the 70s. Within the project frames, exterior old stone tiles were replaced by the new tiles, additionally new staircases were installed according to the original shape and form.

A new Metro Station “University” will be serving to Tbilisi residents and guests of the capital from today. 23rd Prime-Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Zurab Alavidze attended the opening ceremony of the Metro Station. Mr. Minister congratulated to Tbilisi residents and the guests of the city on the opening of a new Metro Station and thanked all those people, including engineer-constructors, who contributed to the implementation of the project.

Construction of tourist infrastructure at Sapara Monastery is at its completion stage
Construction of tourist infrastructure at Sapara Monastery, Akhaltsikhe, through the World Bank funding is at its completion stage. Main part of the works has been completed. Cost of the project exceeds more than half mln GEL and it is implemented by the Municipal Development Fund.
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Zurab Alavidze visited the site. Minister regularly monitors ongoing projects in regions.
Establishment of Electronic Procurement System significantly increased the level of transparency – stated Minister Alavidze
“During the implementation of infrastructure projects we pay huge importance to the transparency of procurement process and public access to related information. The implementation and use of Electronic Procurement System simplifies application process, insures increase in competition and makes the process transparent with highly effective monitoring possibilities. There is an annual increase in the number of State Tenders and contracts conducted by means of Electronic Procurement System – same can be said regarding the projects implemented by our ministry” - stated Minister Alavidze.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, along with the Prime minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and other members of the government, visited Brothers’ Cemetery of Mukhatgverdi.
Members of the Cabinet of Ministers paid tribute to the memory of the heroes who died in the August 2008 war and laid a wreath on the memorial at Mukhatgverdi cemetery. Zurab Alavidze expressed his condolences to the family members of the heroes who died and attended the mass for the dead.
