Ilia Begiashvili
First Deputy Minister
Mr. Ilia Begiashvili was born on February 27th, 1972 in the village of Dzveli-Anagi, Signagi Municipality.
In 1998 he graduated from Family Physician Medical Institute with a degree of a Physician.
In 1999 he started working as an Advisor in medical affairs to Head of Signagi Municipality, at Signagi city board;
From June, 1999 to April, 2010 he occupied various positions at PSP group: Head of a warehouse, Senior Manager of Distribution Department, Head of Service Department;
2010 – 2012 he was the Director of Georgian-Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Company (CU Prarma);
From April 2012 till February 2014 he was the Head of the Department of Administrative Affairs, Procurements and Logistics at “Tegeta Motors” LTD;
On March 4, 2014 he was appointed on the position of a Deputy Head of Administrative Department of the Administration of the Government of Georgia;
From March 26, 2014 he occupied the position of the Head of Administrative Department of the Administration of the Government of Georgia.
On April 10, 2018 he was appointed as a Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Regional Developement and Infrastructure of Georgia.
He is fluent in Russian and English.
Mr. Ilia Begiashvili is married and has three children.
