Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
Irakli Karseladze has been appointed as the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure from 22 february, 2021.
Mr. Irakli Karseladze has an extensive experience of working on managerial positions both in public and private sectors. Prior to moving to public sector, Mr. Karseladze occupied following positions: Head of Logistics Department at “Diplomat Georgia”, Head of Procurements, Logistics and Administration at the JSC “Georgian Lottery Company”, Head of Logistics and Procurements at JSC “Lomisi – Natakhtari Brewery and Head of International Procurements Department at JSC “Cartu Group”. At the early stage of his career, he worked as an expert on aerial and naval ports project under the United Nations Development Program.
From 2012 he occupied the position of a Head of Administrative Department at the Administration of the Government of Georgia.
Before being appointed on the position of the First Deputy Minister, Chairman of the Roads Department of Georgia, he held the position of the Executive Director of Tourism Development Fund and its affiliated companies. At the same time he was the chair of the Advisory Board of the Co-Investment Fund of Georgia.
Mr. Irakli Karseladze graduated from International Economic Relations of the Faculty of Economics, Ivane Javakhishvili State University.
He is fluent in English and Russian languages.
Mr. Irakli Karseladze was born on February 28, 1978, in Kutaisi, Georgia.
