30th Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe

30th Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe was held in Strasbourg. 

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Tengiz Shergelashvili attended the event and made a speech before the members of the Congress. He highlighted the steps made for decentralization and talked about the recommendations given in a post-monitoring mission report. In his speech, Mr. Shergelashvili also reviewed the reforms that have been implemented during the last three years in terms of fiscal decentralization.    

Mr. Jean Claud Frecon, President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe stated that the Congress will work with Georgia and assist it in carrying out the given recommendations.
