ADB anticorruption mission in Georgia

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Eka Sepashvili met ADB anti-corruption office representatives along with the Director of the United Water Supply Company of Georgia, Giorgi Koberidze.  

The mission term in Georgia is 25 July through 19 August. It will review the procurement documents of ADB funded projects and issues related to transfer of money. The mission will also inspect the ongoing works. 

The mission report will be uploaded on the ADB official web-site. 

The Deputy Minister and the Director of the Company expressed their willingness to cooperate with the mission. Eka Sepashvili highlighted the importance of the vision of the mission and noted that implementation of the project in a transparent manner and in compliance with the legislation is a priority issue for the Ministry.
