Ambassador congratulates Maya Tskitishvili on successful visit to the People’s Republic of China

At the meeting held at the Ministry, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China, JI Yanchi congratulated Vice Premier of Georgia, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Maya Tskitishvili on successful business visit to the People’s Republic of China. Maya Tskitishvili and JI Yanchi made a special emphasize on importance of the meetings, conducted within the visit to China along with the specific outcomes that were achieved in the process of negotiations with Vice-Premier of China Hu Chunhua and Xinjiang District Governor. The Parties highlighted partnership relations that have been significantly developed recently between Georgia and China in various fields, inter alia commerce-economy, culture, education, tourism etc. They talked also about importance of the cooperation to be deepened even more within the “Belt and Road” initiative. As per Vice Premier and Ambassador, decision on formation of joint working teams was made within the visit to China and it will significantly contribute to cooperation to be effective and discussion on topics to become even more intensive. Maya Tskitishvili thanked Ambassador for positive evaluation of the visit of Georgian delegation and expressed hope that the relations between two countries will be expanded even more. In his turn the Ambassador of China expressed readiness to assist to development of this process as much as possible. The Georgian delegation led by Vice Premier visited the People’s Republic of China on August 29-30. Within the referenced meeting Maya Tskitishvili delivered a speech at China-Eurasia Economic Cooperation Forum, participated in China-Eurasia International Exhibition “China-Eurasia Expo 2018” and conducted meetings with the Vice Premier of China, Xinjiang District Governor and Vice President of one of the largest investment companies “Hauling Group”.
