Asian Development Bank will be funding water supply and water discharge infrastructure in Gudauri

ADB will be funding second phase of water supply system in Gudauri – construction of water discharge and water treatment systems. 
General Director of ADB, Mr. Werner Liepach visited the site along with the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Irakli Karseladze, Director of the United Water Supply Company of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Koberidze to see the situation in terms of water supply.
Currently bidding documents of the project are being prepared. Construction works will start by the end of 2018.
Mr. Koberidze introduced the works within the frames of the first phase of the rehabilitation to the leadership of the financial institution. The project was funded by the Government of Georgia and finished in 2017. As a result of the project water supply in Gudauri improved significantly. 
Werner Liepach visited Georgia within the frames of a working visit. General Director got familiar with the ongoing infrastructure projects funded by the bank, site for the planned works and the existing situation.
