Before the end of the year, Ureki will have 24-hour water supply
11 March 2017Construction of water supply and sewage system and treatment plant is ongoing in Ureki. The project will be completed this year.
The construction works are being performed by United Water Supply Company of Georgia and are financed by the Asian Development Bank.
Total cost of the project is more than 78 million GEL. More than 200 persons are employed at the works.
There was no centralized system of water supply in Ureki. After the completion of the project, the local residents will have 24-hour water supply, and once the Sewage Treatment Plant has been constructed, harmful effects to the environment will be reduced.
