Budget of Samtskhe-Javakheti Projects to be Planned in Cooperation with Self-governments

Planning of budgets for regional projects is underway with the involvement of self-government representatives. Management of the Ministry held a meeting with representatives of self-government of Samtskhe-Javakheti Region. The meeting held at the Ministry was attended by the Minister, Deputy Ministers, Acting Governor, Mayors of Municipalities, as well as the majority deputies of the Region. The participants comprehensively discussed all infrastructural projects ongoing and planned in the Region, standardization of procurement methodology, steps made towards accomplishment of decentralization process, existing challenges and means of their solution.   
„Management of the Ministry is holding meetings with representatives of regional self-governments.   It is a new format introduced by us.  We have already conducted such meetings in several regions, which turned out to be very productive. All stakeholders and in the first place – the Municipalities are involved. Through their involvement we are able to consider projects, which are critical to the Region.” – stated Maya Tskitishvili.
