Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Nodar Javakhishvili, together with the first deputy Ilia Darchiashvili and the heads of the sub-structures of the Ministry met the high officials of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). On the meeting discussion was focused on the current and future infrastructure projects, road infrastructure development, as well as on construction projects of water and sewerage systems.
The Asian Development Bank is one of the largest partners of Georgia. ADB supports infrastructure investment projects in Georgia; also ADB has approved a three-year program of budgetary support for Georgia which provides a variety of technical assistance. On the meeting it was noted the importance of the visit of the officials of the Asian Development Bank for the future effective cooperation between two countries.
