Disaster-damaged bridge was opened in Samtredia

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and InfrastructureTengiz Shergelashvili, together with the governor of Imereti Givi Chichinadze opened the renewed bridge, which connects two villages of Samtredia municipality.

Bridge connects villages of Samtredia municipality Tolebi and Bughnara to each other. Old Bridge was damaged by the flood in 2014. 900 inhabitants from two villages will use the renewed bridge. It is important that the bridge is the shortest connecting way to Chokhatauri municipality.

The project was co-funded by the government and its cost is 820 000 GEL.
