due to the disaster, opening of the 11- kilometer stretch of the high speed highway was postponed

due to the disaster, opening of the 11- kilometer stretch of the high speed highway (Kutaisi bypass 9 kilometers, Samtredia-Grigoleti 2 kilometers)   was postponed.   

Relevant departments and local authorities are  in the western regions of Georgia, and are working hard for liquidation the results of  heavy rain. 

According to the order of the Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili, The high officials of the government will visit all the regions affected by the disaster, in order to coordinate the disaster relief works.

The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Nodar Javakhishvili is in Guria region and personally coordinates disaster relief works.
