Monitoring Team holds the meeting in Telavi

The Monitoring Team of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) led by Deputy Minister Ilia Begiashvili met with the representatives of design, supervision and construction companies in Telavi. 
The objective of the meeting is an oversight over implementation of current infrastructural projects to be provided in order the referenced projects to be executed in a qualitative manner within set dates and identification of the reasons causing works impede. Deputy Minister was notified of the information pertaining to problematic issues directly by representatives of the companies. 
In attendance of the meeting were Kakheti State Governor Irakli Kadagishvili, representatives of the administration and Mayors of the Municipalities. The discussion was held through the dialogue and sharing of opinions amongst the participants of the meeting. “The format of the meeting is quite interesting as it is attended by all the parties involved in implementation of one affair, hence it is of highest significance to listen to their opinions, views and problems. All participants have an opportunity to express mutual complaints towards each other. I am sure that all questions will be responded. Moreover, I would like to note that we have ambitious plans as the Government tries to implement as much projects in the regions as possible and more finances to be spent. The aim of today’s meeting is to identify of how all of us, inter alia companies, Municipalities and contractor companies are ready to bring the referenced kindness to each locations, i.e. local residents. I do consider that this is not the meeting held for the meeting purposes only and it will have the real outcomes to be reflected on quality of infrastructural projects and dates of performance” – Ilia Begiashvili stated. 
Deputy Minister also declared that similar meetings will be held in other regions of Georgia too. “It is important the projects to be implemented qualitatively within set dates, however in some cases we do have some claims. The objective of such kind of meeting is all issues to be discusses with business, companies, supervisors and MRDI and identify hindering factors” – Irakli Kadagishvili said. 
Aimed at the infrastructural projects undergoing implementation throughout the country to be completed qualitatively within set dates, there was formed the working team as per the assignment of Minister Maya Tskitishvili. The referenced Team includes the representatives of MRDI, construction companies, experts, administration of the State Government and Municipalities, providing daily oversight over the infrastructural projects that undergo implementation in the regions.
