Mzia Giorgobiani Addresses Participants of “Global Business & Investment Forum”

,,Georgia is an attractive country for investments in terms of its open market, liberal economic policy and strategic location.   We are partners of various states, and enjoy free trade regimes with EU, China, Turkey and CIS“,- declared Mzia Giorgobiani, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia  while addressing the “Global Business & Investment Forum”.   
Global Business & Investment Forum organized by Union of Business Ladies (UBL) and Georgia Asia-Africa Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) aims at introducing Georgia to International Delegates, as a country of great opportunities and investment potential, it serves as a platform to connect the world's top businesses and the most successful startups. Additionally, the forum sets out to assemble local and international delegates, in an effort to facilitate resource sharing and mutual support.
Global Business Forum hosted delegates from more than 15 countries. Honorary guests gave Master Classes in financial, social and environmental fields. According to Mzia Giorgobiani, one of top priorities is development of transit potential of the country “And those infrastructural projects, which are already ongoing or still planned may also serve as an illustration of the named fact. These projects inter alia include:  Improvement of East-West Highway, Construction of Anaklia Deep Sea Port, and Construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway, Development of Modern Logistic Centers and modernization of railway in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.   They will enhance overall transport facilities of Georgia and give an incentive to successful cooperation in the region.”        
The two-day (October 5-6) Forum featured government officials, as well as representatives of private sector. 
HH Sheikha Hessa Bint Saad Al Sabah, the Kuwaiti princess and President of the Council of Arab Businesswomen and HM Zaynab Otiti Obanor – Queen of Nigeria and the founder of the Arabian and African Economic Development Initiative were also visiting Georgia for the first time under the present Forum.
