New bridge is being constructed overMshraliKhevi (Dry Ravine)

New bridge is being constructed over MshraliKhevi (Dry Ravine) on Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road.   
Despite extreme weather conditions construction works are still ongoing and the contractor is laying piles. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Zurab Alavidze visited the construction works. According to him, design-construction works started in October, 2016 and are due to be finished in December, this year. The new bridge will substitute a depreciated one and will be suitable for traffic flow. 
The project is funded from the state budgetwith GEL 4 550 000 and it employs 20 people. Within the frames of rehabilitation-periodic maintenance34 new bridges have been constructed from 2013 through 2016.
