New, modern type of litter bins will be handed out to regions

New modern type of litter bins will be handed out to the regions of Georgia. In consideration of increased number of tourists in summer and in order to ensure clean environment in regions and tourist zones, 10 000 containers will be distributed to regions of Georgia. 
Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Grigol Katsia and the Head of Solid Waste Management Company of Georgia, Mr. Giorgi Shukhoshvili held a meeting in Telavi, Kakheti with the First Deputy of State Attorney-Representative in Kakheti Region and Mayor of Telavi.
250 German made litter bins of 1100 litter capacity were given to the Municipality of Telavi, while 1800 liter bins of with the same features were given to the whole Kakheti region.
Altogether more than GEL 5,5 mln was spent on buying new litter bins for municipalities.
