New road will be more secure and travel time will be reduced

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Zurab Alavidze inspected construction works ongoing on Samtredia-Grigoleti section of the highway. The project is financed by the European Investment bank. More than 600 people are employed in works, which will be completed by the end of the year. After putting the new road into operation, safe movement of vehicles will be improved and travel time will be reduced. As the Governor of Imereti region mentioned, local residents will be given the opportunity for small business development.
