Nodar Javakhishvili inspected disaster relief works in Guria region

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Nodar Javakhishvili visited the disaster-affected region of Guria. Minister was acquainted with the disaster relief efforts in various municipalities of Guria region. 

Several days ago, as a result of the heavy rain, all of the municipalities of Guria region were damaged. Landslide occurred in the villages of Ozurgeti municipality. Bridges and agricultural lands were ruined in Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti municipalities. Road surfaces were damaged in all municipalities of the region.  On the several sections traffic has been restored.  On the sections where bridges have been ruined, the design works are ongoing. 

Intensive works are ongoing on all sections, where the meteorological conditions allow to work.
