Number of villages of Khobi Municipality will have 24 hour water supply from this autumn

Works are actively underway to ensure water supply to a number of villages of Khobi. From this Fall the villages of Kulevi, Shua Khorga and Kariata will have 24 hour water supply. These villages have had water supply problem for decades. To this day local authorities supply water to population in special water tanks. 
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Zurab Alavidze visited the site to see the works along with the Majoritarian Deputy of Khoby, Mayor of Khobi and representatives of local authorities.
The project covers construction of a 34 km long water supply network. The works will be implemented in two stages and its cost will be around GEL 1 mln.
The project is funded from the Fund for the Projects to be implemented in the Regions of Georgia.
