Poland may finance the “New Life of the City” project in Georgia

The Twinning Project for public services of the EU has been reviewed at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI). 
In attendance of the meeting were Maya Tskitishvili, Deputy Minister Mzia Giorgobiani, Ministry representatives and State Secretary (Deputy Minister) of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investment of Poland Pavel Horonz along with the members of the Delegation. 
The Twinning Project was commenced in January 2018. It is supported by the Ministry of Economy and Investments of Poland. The main objectives of the project are to support the Municipalities and Central Government of Georgia concerning spatial arrangement issues and enhancement of opportunities for preparation of investment programs and projects. 
At the meeting there was discussed also the possibility of funding the new “New life of the City” project in Georgia to be supported from the Development Cooperation Fund of Poland.
