Population of Lagodekhi will have comfortable and safe road

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili visited rehabilitation works on the road connecting villages of Lagodekhi along with Executive Director of Municipal Development Fund of Georgia Juansher Burchuladze.  

6 km long road connects 4 villages: Tsodniskari, Tela, Pataragori and Kabal with administrative center of Lagodekhi Municipality. Rehabilitation works on the road have not been carried out for more than 30 years. The project covers laying asphalt-concrete layer, arranging gutters and culverts, marking of the road and safety works.  

The project is funded by the World Bank with the co-financing of the Government of Georgia and its total cost is GEL 2 300 000. 60 people are employed for construction works and majority of them are locals. The works started in 2015 and are due this year.
