Poti will have sewerage infrastructure of modern standard

Head of United Water Supply Company of Georgia, Mr. George Koberidze, Executive Vice-President of International Division, Alon Yegnes and Operational Director Iris Yantsik of a Dutch Company TAHAL Group BV signed an agreement on construction of sewerage infrastructure in Poti. The project covers construction of sewerage network of modern standards as well as of pumping stations, which will improve sanitary condition in the city and reduce negative impact on environment. The cost of the construction works amounts to GEL 89 943 800. 22 and is funded by the ADB. More than 150 local people will be employed in the project. The works are planned to be completed by 2020 and Poti will have new sewerage infrastructure of modern standards.
