Rehabilitation of around 5 km long road of Bagdati-Abastumani-Benara is now complete

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Zurab Alavidze visited around 5 km long rehabilitated Sagoria-bagdati-Abastumani-Benara road section in Kutaisi. The road is important from tourist viewpoint as it crosses Ajameti nature reserve. From now on population of the villages of Baghdati Municipality and tourists will be able to travel on rehabilitated road. The project covered laying a two-layer asphalt-concrete cover, arrangement of artificial structures, junctions to local roads and yard entrances. Rehabilitation works started in November, 2017. The project was funded from the state budget and its cost amounted to GEL 2 992 801.
