Rehabilitation of 5.3 km long Meria-Laituri road is finished. Rehabilitated section of the road starts in the village of Meria, Ozurgeti Municipality and ends in the center of village Laituri. The road connects villages in Ozurgeti with the Municipality of Kobuleti. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Zurab Alavidze visited the road section along with the Governor, Mr. Merab Chanukvadze. The project covered rehabilitation of three junctions, box culverts, laying of two stratums of asphalt-concrete cover, arrangement of concrete gutters and road signs as well as rehabilitation of entrances to the yards of the people living along the road. Road signs were installed on the road section. The project also covered rehabilitation of three steel-concrete bridges. The works were funded from the state budget with the amount of GEL 2 975 000. The project started in August, 2017 and finished in December, 2017.
