Roads in Ozurgeti are safe, the population has no movement restrictions

Severe weather conditions and strong wind caused natural disaster in Guria.  All four municipalities of Guria region were affected.  Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Kakhaber Guledani, along with majoritarian of Ozurgeti - Archil Talakvadze and local government representatives checks the liquidation works caused by the disaster. Mr. Guledani received detailed information about the situation in the region from the emergency staff created in the municipality. 
By this time the roads in Ozurgeti are cleaned and the population does not have any problems with the transportation. As for the villages, the corresponding departments are carrying out liquidation works. Also, special commissions has been set up in the disaster zone to identify the financial looses.
Severe weather conditions and the strong wind hit four municipalities of Guria region yesterday.  Living blocks and private houses’ roofs were impacted by the natural disaster. One house was completely destroyed as a result of the hurricane in Chokhatauri municipality.  Due to the disaster trees have been uprooted, also natural gas pipelines and power lines were damaged.
