Samtredia-Grigoleti new road will reduce travel time

Within the monitoring of ongoing projects, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Zurab Alavidze inspected construction quality of Samtredia-Grigoleti road. Works ongoing in Guria region are financed by the European Investment Bank and the cost of the project is more than GEL 250 million. According to the Minister of Infrastructure, adherence to established dates and construction of qualitative roads are important for country’s rapid development. Therefore, the number of employed workers will be increased and contractor companies shall meet their obligations. After putting Samtredia-Grigoleti road into operation, road capacity will be increased and travel time will be reduced.
