5 July 2016According to the information provided by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia a significant amount of atmospheric precipitation is forecasted in East of Georgia on 4 – 7 July which may cause landslide and mudflow. Considering the above forecast and with the purpose of avoiding possible threats, Roads Department of Georgia under the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia decided to limit road traffic in Dariali gorge. The traffic will be open after the respective agencies exclude the above mentioned threats.
