The meeting of the Government Commission on Regional Development

The meeting of the Government Commission on Regional Development, which was chaired by the Deputy Minister Tengiz Shergelashvili, was held at the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

The issues of the allocation of funds for regional projects were discussed on the session. Discussions focused on the rule of co-financing for municipalities.

Allocated funds have been distributed mainly for rehabilitation of roads, water supply systems and the rehabilitation and construction of kindergartens. At this stage, the Commission approved the projects suggested by the municipalities with cost about 120 million GEL
