The tourist infrastructure will be arranged at Ubisa Monastery

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Ilia Darchiashvili, together with the executive director of the Municipal Development Fund Juansher Burchuladze visited restoration works of Ubisa monastery and tourist infrastructure around it. The Municipal Development Fund implements the rehabilitation works by co-finance of the world bank and government of Georgia. The project aims to develop tourism infrastructure in Georgia and to promote the preservation of cultural heritage.
The project includes restoration of Ubisa monastery, also, there will be arranged an information center, parking,toilets and access road to the monastery. The cost of the project is 1 422 609 GEL.
