The village of Bakhurtsikhe will have renewed culture center

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili visited rehabilitation works on culture center in the village of Bakhurtsikhe along with the Executive Director of the Municipal Development Fund (MDF) of Georgia, Juansher Burchuladze.
Culture Center building of the village was built in the 70s of the previous century, though it has not been functioning for 20 years. The building has been fully refurbished at the order of the MDF. The floor has been covered with ceramic-garnet tiles and natural stone, PVC windows and mdf doors have been installed and roof was changed. Heating system installation and electric circle and water supply system are also planned to be fixed. In addition to rehabilitation of the building, the project also covers surfacing of the yard.
The project is implemented through the funding of the World Bank and co-funding of the Government of Georgia. Its total cost amounts to GEL 1 922 556, 31. Rehabilitation works are due in October, 2016. 35 people are employed for the works.
