“Today it is evident that the past and future of China is as impressive as its history” - Maya Tskitishvili

Maya Tskitishvili, Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia greeted the society attending the event related to 69th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and congratulated Chinese people on the anniversary. Anniversary celebration took place at the Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi. Vice-Prime Minister talked about the relationships of two countries and noted that China is one of the major partners  - „we are in close friendship relations, China was one of the first countries, which recognized independence of Georgia 27 years ago, and at the same time Georgia was one of the first countries that with a great enthusiasm  joined One Belt, One Road Initiative (OBOR) proposed by H.E. President of China Xi Jinping“ -  stated Vice-Prime Minister.
Mrs. Maya Tskitishvili stressed possibilities raise for Chinese companies to operate in Georgia, also increasing import capabilities for Georgian production on Chinese market and noted that in November of the current year Georgian companies will represent their production at Shanghai Forum. Vice-Prime Minister hopes that as a result of participation in the forum, companies will be able to extend cooperation with Chinese partners and achieve success at Chinese market. Official visit of the Prime Minister in the People's Republic of China is planned under the mentioned Forum. Besides official persons, representatives of Chinese media attended the Event. Mrs. Maya Tskitishvili declared during the interview: ”Our relationship has a high potential. I have been in China recently and it was a great honor for me to meet with H.E. Hu Chunhua, Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China. We discussed many important issues during the visit, but the most essential and remarkable was hospitality I felt during the visit. We greatly appreciate our relations and we would be glad if these relations develop further and further“.
