2-day training workshop (Enhancing Public (Financial) Governance and Management in European Cities) was held for "Eastern Partnership” countries by co-organizing of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, the European Union and the Council of Europe, within the frameworks of the program cooperation with the European Union and the Council of Europe.
The foreign experts invited by the European Council, shared the experience of the European cities in the field of strategic planning, organizational structures and financial management with the participants of the seminar. This issue plays important role in ensuring effective public governance and sustainable urban development.
The seminar was attended by the representatives of Tbilisi, Gori, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Telavi, Zugdidi, Poti, Akhaltsikhe, Ambrolauri, Ozurgeti, Mtskheta, Batumi, Zestafoni, Chiatura, Borjomi, Marneuli and Senaki Municipalities.
